Pre-owned Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Equation of Time 'Edition Palm Beach' (ref. 25934OR.O.5967CR.01), featuring a self-winding automatic movement; black dial with concentric circles guilloche texture; perpetual calendar with day of the week & date subdials at 6 o'clock, month subdial at 12 o'clock with the center doubling as a moonphase indicator, and small leap year indicator between 1 & 2 o'clock; equation of time complication including sunrise subdial at 3 o'clock, sunset subdial at 9 o'clock, and equation of time hand pointing to the engraving on the bezel indicating the difference between the "mean" time & the "true" time; sapphire-crystal, exhibition case back; and 39mm, polished & brushed 18k rose gold case on a burgundy alligator strap secured by the Audemars Piguet, 18k rose gold folding clasp.

As the earth orbits around the sun in an elliptical (oval) shape & the axis is tilted - there are only 4 days a year when the day is exactly 24 hours long April 15th, June 14th, September 1st and December 24th. All other days of the year the days are shorter or longer - depending in the position of the earth. This model will show the difference between the "mean" time & the "true" time. This particular watch has been factory-set to show this difference accurately in Palm Beach, Florida as noted on the bezel.
