Our Values

The Greenleaf & Crosby Difference

Greenleaf & Crosby has been part of Florida since 1868 and part of Palm Beach since 1895. A great deal has changed in that time, but not the way we look after the people who come through our door. These five values guide every decision we make, from what goes into our showcases to how we care for a piece you’ve worn for decades.

What We Stand For

  • Service

From resizing a ring or replacing a watch battery to restoring an antique jewel or a complicated timepiece, we take on the widest range of repairs we can. Small jobs get the same care as big ones, because whatever you bring us matters to you.

    About Jewelry Repair
  • Value

We buy back what we sell. So before anything goes into our showcases, we ask ourselves two things: will a client love it, and would we be glad to buy it back one day? That simple test keeps us honest about quality.

    Selling to Us
  • Tradition

Our jewelers still work with skills and tools that have been handed down for more than a century. We honor that craft, and we also believe in a “tradition of innovation”: when new technology makes a piece or a repair better, we use it.

    Bespoke Design
  • Aesthetics & Quality

We choose and create timeless designs, the kind meant to be passed from one generation to the next. Every jewel made in our workshop is inspected by our owners, Win and Natalie Betteridge, and only when it meets their standards is it stamped with the G&C seal.

  • Heritage

Greenleaf & Crosby is Florida’s oldest jeweler, and still family-owned after more than 150 years. We’re not here to make a quick sale. We hope to look after you, and your family, for generations.

A Family Business

Greenleaf & Crosby has always been family-owned. Today it belongs to Win and Natalie Betteridge, who spent more than a decade on the management team at Betteridge in Greenwich, Connecticut, before acquiring Greenleaf & Crosby in 2021.

Alongside our flagship at 236 Worth Avenue, we own and operate the Vacheron Constantin, IWC Schaffhausen, Panerai and Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques on Worth Avenue. Whether you’re looking for fine or estate jewelry, wedding bands, or a new or pre-owned watch, you’ll be welcomed by the same family.
