Art Deco cocktail ring, centering a large round cabochon-cut, natural blue sapphire weighing ~41.60 carats, mounted in an intricate, handmade platinum setting accented by trapeze, baguette and round single-cut diamonds. The beautiful translucent blue color is the highlight of this gem. An asterism in the form of a six-ray star can be viewed from the sides.
