Crafted from a high-performance combination of white zirconium oxide ceramic and IWC's proprietary Ceratanium®, this timepiece offers unparalleled durability against extreme temperature fluctuations and intense gravitational forces.
- Innovative Vertical Drive System: Features a patent-pending rotating bezel that controls all watch functions—including winding and time-setting—eliminating the need for a traditional crown to allow for easy operation with gloves.
- Spaceflight Certified Materials: The 44.3mm case utilizes white ceramic while the bezel and case back are made of Ceratanium®, a material that blends the lightness of titanium with the scratch resistance of ceramic.
- Dual-Time Capability: Equipped with a 24-hour jumping hour GMT hand, it allows astronauts and travelers to track a reference time (such as UTC) alongside a second local time zone.
- Extended Power Reserve: Powered by the IWC-manufactured 32722 caliber, the watch boasts a robust 120-hour power reserve to ensure reliable performance during long-duration missions.
- High-Visibility Dial: The matte black dial is designed for maximum legibility with green Super-LumiNova® on the primary hands and a blue GMT hand that pays tribute to the Earth’s horizon as seen from space.
