The Panerai Luminor Firenze 8 Giorni Ref. PAM01734 combines a 44mm Platinumtech® case — forged from 95% pure platinum with 85% increased hardness — with an in-house 8-day hand-wound movement, issued as a 100-piece limited edition marking the centenary of Panerai's historic Florence boutique. Drawn from a rare 1960s ref. 6152/1 prototype, the design revives the Manufacture's Florentine roots and its military heritage with the Italian Navy.

• Florence Centenary Edition: Limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, the PAM01734 commemorates the 100th anniversary of Panerai's original Florence boutique, with a tone-on-tone "Panerai Firenze" engraving cut into the dial in tribute to the rare 1960s ref. 6152/1 prototype that inspired it.
• Platinum Case: The 44mm cushion-shaped case is crafted from Platinumtech®, an alloy of 95% pure platinum engineered for 85% greater hardness than standard platinum, with a flat crown-protecting bridge whose parallel inner grooves recall a functional wartime modification designed for gloved winding.
• Case & Straps: Fitted with a domed sapphire crystal evoking the vintage Plexiglas® effect and an open sapphire caseback revealing the movement, the case is water-resistant to 10 bar (approximately 100 meters), delivered on a black Tuscan calf leather strap hot-stamped with the Florentine lily and secured by a white gold trapezoidal buckle, plus an interchangeable green rubber strap.
• Green Dial: Green circular-brushed sandwich dial with cut-out Arabic numerals and hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova®, set beneath vintage-inspired double pencil hands finished in a gold effect.
• Manual Movement: Powered by the manually wound Panerai Calibre P.5000 (15½ lignes, 4.5mm thick, 113 parts, 21 jewels), regulated by a variable-inertia Glucydur® balance oscillating at 21,600 vph and protected by an Incabloc® Parechoc anti-shock system, storing 8 days (192 hours) of power reserve across twin barrels.
