This pre-owned Rolex Great White Sea-Dweller Ref. 1665 combines a rugged 40mm tool-watch case with the coveted Mark 1 matte black dial that gives the reference its "Great White" nickname. Born from Rolex's deep-sea heritage, the Sea-Dweller line was engineered as an essential companion for professional divers pushing beyond the limits of the Submariner.

  • "Great White" Dial: A highly coveted Mark 1 example, prized among Sea-Dweller collectors for its early production and honest, all-original character.
  • Case & Bracelet: 40mm Oyster case fitted to a Rolex 93150 Oyster bracelet with VC date code dating to 1978, complete with 585 end links.
  • Dial: Matte black Mark 1 dial with very nice color to the lume on the dial and hands, showing a warm, even patina throughout.
  • Provenance: 5.43 million serial number dating production to circa 1978; presented without the original Rolex box or papers.
  • Condition: The service history is unknown but movement is running well. The case and bracelet have been lightly polished in the past, but are in overall good shape with very little stretch to the bracelet.
